The Wii Mini, Nintendo’s cheap, redesigned version of its popular console, will launch in the US later this month.
The $100 console, which is already available in Canada, Japan, and the UK, will come bundled with Mario Kart Wii when it launches in the middle of the month.
The small, plastic console lacks internet capability, limiting players to single-player and local muliplayer only, and the ability to play GameCube games.
In the first two months of availability in Canada, the Wii Mini sold 35,700 units.
While the company has discontinued the original Wii system in Japan, the console will continue to be sold in the US, Nintendo announced in October.
