For those not quite in the know, Unity3D is the cross-platform gaming engine that has been used more frequently in games by recognized designers and developers. It is used to build video games for web plugins, desktop platforms, consoles and mobile devices, and is utilized by over one million developers. Combined with a massive community and asset store, Unity3D is the gaming platform to watch as developers move away from more recognized engines.
Upcoming titles like Torment, Leisure Suit Larry and American McGee’s anticipated Kickstarter campaign are being developed with Unity3D, and we’re expecting to see more as the Unity Team breaks down the barriers between low cost and high quality game development software.
