Eye of Atlantis sure sounds like a great title for an Uncharted game, and I know a lot of PlayStation fans would love the following screenshots to be real. However, I must remind you that this is just a rumour and, until Naughty Dog get back to us, you should not get too excited.
That being said, the following images have surfaced, and they point towards a possible sequel to Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.
These images were sourced from NeoGAF, and the community there seems to be in two minds. Some believe it to be an upcoming PS Vita title, while others have deemed the images as unquestionably fake.
The last image in particular has been targeted due to it using this image from Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception:
After seeing this I was convinced that it was a fake too. However, with the text “8 months ago…” covering the image, it could well be that a previous Uncharted location is being used during a flashback.
As for the notion that this could be a PS Vita title, I’m not so sure. The full title of this supposed next Uncharted sequel is: Uncharted 4: Eye of Atlantis. You can see the “4″ to right of the featured image.
Having a numbered sequel as a PS Vita title would be more than a little odd.
What do you guys think of these images? Are they just the product of someone showing off their Photoshop skills, or are they something more?
