Spike TV hosting PS4 launch event, “world premieres and announcements” promised

Excited for the PlayStation 4? Well, this little bit of news might make you more enthusiastic.

Gametrailers host Geoff Keighley has announced on Twitter that he’s set to host the PS4 launch event this coming November 14 at 11 p.m. EST. That in itself is not big news, but in the same tweet, he also revealed that it’s an “epic night of PlayStation world premieres and announcements.”

And just in case that wasn’t clear enough, a PlayStation fan asked whether this means new PS4 games will be announced to which Keighley replied with,”definitely.”

If you don’t get Spike TV in your part of the world or you’re at work, don’t fret as the event will also be live-streamed with details set to be announced at a later date.

So, what games are you expecting to be shown? Ideally I’d say The Last Guardian but that’s wishful thinking, I think.

Maybe Naughty Dog’s debut PS4 game will make an appearance? Let’s hope so.
