Sonic games have always been colorful and children friendly. However, it seems that Sega is about to change all that with sonic-lost-worlds-will-have-some-bizarre-gritty-dialogue.
According to the game’ ESRB rating, Sonic Lost Worlds will feature interesting dialogue. It seems that Sega is leaving behind the children friendly nature of the game and is going for dark and gritty take on Sonic.
This was somewhat foreshadowed as the game has been given the highest age rating compared to any previous Sonic Games.
It remains to be seen if that is all true but, the evidence points towards Sonic outgrowing its kid friendly past.
