Precursor Games developer Ken McCulloch arrested on child pornography possession and distribution charges

One of the founders of Precursor Games has been charged with multiple counts of involvement with child pornography.

Ken McCulloch was arrested on June 27th by the Niagara Regional Police following a search of his home. He has been charged with Possession of Child Pornography, Making Child Pornography Available, and Accessing Child Pornography.

McCulloch, who had worked at Silicon Knights for 20 years before helping found Precursor Games, is now in custody awaiting his hearing after police seized a “significant” number of offending computers during their search.

McCulloch, aged 42, had deemed himself the “Lore Keeper, World Builder, Dream Merchant” of Precursor Games.

After removing McCulloch from the studio’s website, CEO Paul Caporicci stated that “Kenneth McCullough is no longer affiliated in any way with Precursor Games.”

What a mess.
