It looks like Shuhei Yoshida, President of Sony’s Worldwide Studios is teasing Oculus Rift support for the PlayStation 4. Earlier today Yoshida tweeted:
“I say Oculus, you say _ _ _ _?”
It was uncovered by NeoGAF user Kaysee this morning.
You should know exactly what Oculus Rift is by now, but you can check out the Kickstarter project here.
This move would make sense, the next-gen war is going to be a tough one. We all know that, even though we haven’t seen what Microsoft has to offer it would be stupid for Sony to not prepare.
Do you think this is a good idea? Personally, I think it’s a brilliant idea and Microsoft will no doubt have to follow suit to try level the playing field a little with Sony. This war of technology is going to be awesome.
We’ll be doing an unboxing of Oculus Rift soon, so keep an eye out.
