Martin Kevan, who voiced Dr. Earnhardt in Ubisoft’s Far Cry 3, has passed away at age 66 after a brief battle with cancer. This is very sad news for the gaming community, and for fans of Far Cry 3 in particular.
Born in Kenya, and raised in England and Montreal, Kevan was a distinguished voice actor and author who enjoyed a successful career in both French and English languages. In the 1980s, his novel Racing Tides was well received by critics.
Dr. Earnhardt was an intriguing character in Far Cry 3 who helped Jason in providing his friends a save haven and medical treatment. Kevan did an excellent job in helping to shape the character of Dr. Earnhardt, who was one of the most important characters in the game.
We would like to pass our sincere condolences on to Martin Kevan’s friends and family.
