DICE: we need to Compromise in places on next-gen Consoles with Battlefield 4

DICE is known for pushing limits of consoles and PCs to deliver unprecedented visual quality in games. The same is true for Battlefield 4, however, DICE will be making compromises on next-gen console versions.

According to DICE, Battlefield 4 will look and play best on PC and the studio will be making compeomises on next-gen versions.

The reason behind these compromises could the fact that the game is being developed for PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and next-gen consoles.

Given that the studio will be rolling the game out all of these platforms, it might nit have the resources to properly port the game to next-gen consoles.

Anther reason for the compromises could the fact that DICE is yet unfamiliar with the architecture of next-gen consoles.

It will take a few years before the studio will be able to fully understand and utilize the power of Xbox One and PlayStation 4.

Battlefield 4 is a first-person action shooter in development at E DICE.
