We already know Battlefield 4 is in development for both current-gen and next-gen consoles. But when will it be revealed exactly?
Over on Battlefield0, they surmised that the BF4 reveal is happening within the month. While EA’s invites for this year’s GDC might be a good starting point, the fan site also sees that BF3‘s Premium video for March has been renamed from “Battlefield 3 March Premium Video” to “March Premium Video.” Add in the fact that End Game is the last expansion, so what on earth can DICE possibly have in store other than a BF4 reveal that would necessitate as a “Premium” video?! Makes sense, right?
Finally, the site mentions that they have seen the Battlefield 4′s box art and have provided a description of what it is below.
I have personally seen the cover art for Battlefield 4, which I cannot post, but I can say that it resembles that of the original Battlefield 3 cover. A man running, in the rain along with tanks, APC’s, and a small teaser image of a jet just to the right of his body. The buildings in the background also resemble that of the original Battlefield 3 artwork. He appears to be holding a suppressed EBR rifle with a support bipod, along with a 1911 pistol with a tac-light in his other hand. The character’s face has evolved from Battlefield 3, sporting slicked back hair in an American military uniform.
While Battlefield0 is a reputable Battlefield site, we’re still filing this one under the rumor column for now.Do you think Battlefield 4 will be revealed later this month? What about this possible box art description? Let us know in the comments.
