After tweeting yesterday that saves and statistics would not be transferable between consoles, DICE have now announced that they are looking into the feature as it has been heavily requested by fans.
It is understandable why those who buy an Xbox 360/PS3 version of Battlefield 4 would want to be able to carry their progress over to the Xbox One/PS4 version of the game. Starting all over again would be a huge pain in the arse.
Implementing this feature would be a wise move by DICE. Making a smooth transition to the next-gen version of BF4 is definitely not a bad thing, especially if it persuades gamers to buy the game twice!
It’s good to see DICE actively looking out for fans. They remain responsive and consistent through their social networking channels.
