Call of Duty: Ghosts will retain the same player cap in multiplayer matches as the previous games in the series, according to an unboxing video by Matroix.
On the back of the box, according to the video, it says the game supports 2 to 18 players, which suggests the game’s ground war playlist will remain 9 versus 9.
Call of Duty: Ghosts will run on a newly iterated version of the original engine the series has used for several years now. It will also mark the series’ debut on next-generation consoles. But, it seems, developer Infinity Ward has decided to keep the player limits the same.
We’ve contacted publisher Activision to confirm the information, but haven’t heard back as of press time.
