Sacred Citadel detailed

Deep Silver have sent us details about Sacred Citadel, a side scrolling RPG brawler. The game allows three players to play at once choosing from a total of four characters. They boast a great range of weapon combinations, so you can have a mace and a sword to mix up between stunning the enemies and stabbing them in the face. Sacred Citadel will use typical RPG elements such as EXP and skill ladders. The game also has merchants in each town so you can buy potions etc to buff your character. The game is set in the same world as Sacred, which is quite a rich ground to be fair, with lots of things for Deep Silver to play with. Sacred Citadel will play the role of a prelude to Sacred 3. Both Sacred Citadel and Sacred 3 are due out in 2013. Sacred Citadel will be released on the Xbox Live Arcade and the Playstation Network.
