The Maniac Pointstreak was revealed for Call of Duty: Ghosts via the Call of Duty Elite page. Found in the Assault Strike Package, the Maniac Pointstreak emphasizes speed and defense over offense and health. According to multiplayer designer Kyle Audick, the Maniac is practically invaluable to a team’s effort:

The Maniac presents a new threat in multiplayer matches, and nothing beats the adrenaline rush of relentlessly chasing down enemies.

The Maniac is delivered through a care package, and once players use the Maniac, they have added defense and high mobility, thanks to high damage resistance and unlimited sprint, respectively. In addition, the Maniac is equipped with one throwing knife. However, and this is a big however, the Maniac’s health does not regenerate. In addition, once the armor breaks, the Pointstreak ends.
