The Xbox One controller has been “enhanced with more than 40 technical and design innovations.” That’s great and dandy, but you should have included “rechargeable batteries” in that list.
You don’t even have to look hard at the picture below to spot that the Xbox One controller has a compartment that is meant for AA batteries. That is correct, folks. The new Xbox One controller will still use AA batteries.
This just baffles the mind. Why can’t Microsoft simply pack in a rechargeable battery pack, at the very least? It’s strange to me that an advanced piece of kit will be operated by a controller that still uses AA batteries.
Microsoft just can’t win today, can it?
