Yesterday, we reported that Battlefield 4′s Open Beta will start on October 1. However, that left BF3 Premium members and those who bought Medal of Honor Warfighter scratching their heads. Did that mean the “Early Access” beta is set for sometime in September, then?
Thankfully, EA has sent a press release officially clarifying it and they’ve broken down how to enter the beta and when you can play. You can read up on the specifics of the beta here.
In related news, EA has released a new Battlefield 4 video titled “This is Battlefield” and it showcases the game’s highly-touted multiplayer.
We see vehicles going head-to-head, infantry shooting the crap out of each other and a teaser look at some new maps! Shown off are a snow map and few ones set with lush greenery, and even one in what looks like a warehouse/factory.
From what we’ve heard in the video, the close-quarters map is called “Operation Locker,” while the big one with tanks is “Goldmud Railway.”
Oh, and unless I’m mistaken, we can see a plane dropping a bomb, too. Is this a new feature for that vehicle or is this part of the Commander’s assets?
Did you see other new details in the video? If so, don’t forget to share it in the comments.
