GTA V launched for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. However, PC gamers are still waiting for Rockstar Games to announce the PC version.
Other than Half-Life 3, or whatever it turns out to be, one of the most desired games for PC users is Grand Theft Auto V. Hell, there’s even an online petition for a PC version of GTA V that will soon hit 600,000 signatures. If this report is any indication, PC users will soon have their wish.
Eurogamer reports that, according to “multiple industry sources,” GTA V will be released for the PC sometime in the first quarter of 2014. In other words, we should expect the game anywhere between January and March of next year. When asked for confirmation, Rockstar Games pointed to an “Asked & Answered” session that said the following:
The only versions of the game that we have announced are for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 which are set for a September 17th worldwide release. We don’t have anything to share about the possibility of a next-gen or a PC platform release at this time and we are completely focused on delivering the best possible experience for the consoles people have right now.
Let’s just say that many people are looking forward to this.
