PlayStation 3 users can now add funds to their PlayStation Network wallets via PayPal, Sony announced today.
Users can add amounts ranging from $5 to $150–the wallet’s monetary limit.
The ability to add funds was only previously available through the Sony Entertainment Network website.
It’s unclear if the PlayStation 4 will support the same feature.
Sony added a mobile billing option that charges users’ phone bills in August.
In 2011, Microsoft added PayPal support to Xbox Live in several countries, including the US and UK.
The Nintendo eShop does not support PayPal.
Spike TV will broadcast a PS4 launch event on Nov. 14, the night before the console launches.
