With Bethesda stopping all development on The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it’s natural to assume that they have a few unannounced games in the works. Heck, it’d be foolish to think that they wouldn’t with or without that Skyrim announcement.
Now, we might have the first tidbit of news concerning whatever unannounced game they’re making. Over at MMA site MiddleEasy’s “Sunday Rumor Mill” section, they’re reporting that Mixed-Martial Arts (MMA) fighter Bob Sapp, who gained notoriety fighting for Pride and K-1, is set “to have “a part” in Bethesda’s new game that will be announced at this year’s E3.
Bob Sapp has a part in a new Bethesda game that will be announced in this year’s E3 expo.
Aside from being a professional fighter, Sapp was also an ex-NFL player and also does acting jobs on the side. Could this “part” be for a motion-capture section? Perhaps as a voice actor or something else?
Keep in mind that this is a rumor, but MiddleEasy has been known to sniff out legit rumors when it comes to MMA; which leaves us to believe this might have more merit than the usual fodder.
Also worth noting, just last week, Bethesda announced over on its official blog that they’re currently looking for people to test their games at id Software’s offices in Dallas, Texas. The studio is, of course, under publishing arm. Could the two be connected?
We’ve contacted Bethesda for a statement and will update this post once they’ve responded.
