Sony say that they expect only 0.04% of PlayStation 4’s will suffer from hardware failures, videogamer.com reports.
Here’s what a Sony rep told GameInformer:
“A handful of people have reported issues with their PlayStation 4 systems. This is within our expectations for a new product introduction, and the vast majority of PS4 feedback has been overwhelmingly positive. We are closely monitoring for additional reports, but we think these are isolated incidents and are on track for a great launch.”Game Informer works it out as 20,000 PS4 breaking, “based on a projection of five million units sold by end of fiscal year (March 31, 2014)”. We were among the first to report that users were suffering issues with their units, including early recievers from other publications such as IGN and Kotaku. Bought a PS4? How is it going for you so far? If your next-gen console conks out, let us know in the comments and maybe someone can help out.
