Check out this awesome Dead Space live-action trailer

Authored by

The final chapter in the Dead Space trilogy came to a close this February (or March depending if you played the latest single-player downloadable content), but that hasn’t stopped fans from craving a movie adaptation of the series. Eric, a film undergraduate and future graduate in entertainment business, and founder of Z Pictures has released a live-action trailer for his movie called Dead Space: Chase to Death. The tone of the trailer is similar to the first entry in the franchise, which is a relief if you thought the series lost its horror elements.

In the description of the trailer, Eric hopes the creators of the Dead Space series enjoy the trailer, and thanks them for inspiring the project.

“I’m a fan of Science Fiction, Filmmaking, and Video games, so I clashed it all together in one video, DEAD SPACE: Chase to Death. I hope that I will be able to continue making live action video game trailers. It’s so much fun. I hope you enjoy it, especially the creators of Dead Space. Thanks for the inspiration and encouragement to travel into the horror of outer space. I also want to thank my amazing crew for sticking with me till’ the bitter end of space. Onto the next one…maybe Dead Space: Collusion or Dark Souls II or…”

We reached out to Eric for comment on the project, and will update the story if we hear back.

  1. That was great. Nice use of the place with the sounds. Dead space really went down from the original. Even the suits don’t look as cool.

  2. It was actually building suspense until the necro fell down and scared Isaac a bit. Overall it was ok, a bit cheesy only missing the bread for you enjoy the trailer with.

  8. I’ll be teaching a creative writing class this summer to a group of 11-14 year-olds. I have experience teaching writing (mostly poetry) to adults, but teaching kids will be new territory. Does anyone have some great tips, websites, resources for exercises, and reading materials for this age group? Thanks!.

  9. I had two computers both connected to a wireless router. Yesterday I connected a third computer to the network and, although the connection goes through for this new computer, one of the original computers now says “Limited or no connectivity” and cannot connect to the Internet. Is it possible that the new computer is using up too much bandwidth and is therefore preventing the other computer from accessing the Internet?.
