According to a report on Reuters, Activision CEO Bobby Kotick made $64.9 million in 2012, making Kotick one of the highest paid CEOs in the United States.
Let’s run the numbers. While Kotick’s salary for 2012 hovered above $2 million, he was awarded $2.5 million in bonuses, as well as another $4.4 due to Activision Blizzard’s corporate annual incentive plan.
The rest came from Kotick’s stock awards, which were worth more than $55.9 million. Wow.
As a whole, Activision Blizzard performed extremely well in 2012, with a net revenue of $4.856 billion and a net income of $1.149 billion, both up from 2011.
As for other executives in 2012, Activision chief financial officer Dennis Durkin made $13.4 million, with Blizzard Entertainment president and CEO Mike Morhaime making more than $9 million.
That’s a lot of zeros.
