Watch over 11-minutes of Dying Light gameplay footage, mixes parkour with zombies

Have you ever wondered what a zombie game would be like if it was mixed with parkour mechanics? If so, wonder no more as Techland (Dead Island) and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment is bringing “Dying Light” to current and next-gen platforms next year.
Yep, it’s as if the Assassin’s Creed franchise got married to Dead Island and this is the offspring. It’s honestly not as ludicrous as it sounds.
In Dying Light, “during the day, players traverse an expansive urban environment that has been overrun by a vicious outbreak, and must scavenge the world for supplies and craft weapons in order to defend themselves from the growing infected population. If players find themselves overwhelmed by infected, they¹ll have to choose between fight or flight. Thankfully they¹ll be able to run seamlessly around the world‹from the rooftops to the ground, and everywhere in between‹with the game¹s free-running movement.”
One more element the game has is letting players choose their own decisions. Save someone or let them be? Each one has different consequences, so that should add a layer of complexity not seen in most zombie games.
Does this look compelling or are you tired of the zombie genre being milked to death at this point?
