It has been revealed that the UK games retail made over £100m last week in just software sales, mainly thanks to the release of Grand Theft Auto V and it breaking every UK record that it could. First party Xbox One games will retail at £50, if the official Microsoft shop is anything to go by. The shop lists Dead Rising 3, Ryse, Forza 5 and Kinect Sports Rivals all for £49.99. According to a statement by publisher Wargaming, the World of Tanks servers have been hacked. By whom is still unknown, but Wargaming assures users that no financial information have been accessed. Even so, password hashes and e-mail addresses might have been compromised, causing Wargaming to urge users to reset their Wargaming ID account password here. GameStop released numbers for its 2012 fiscal year ending February 2, 2013. GameStop had revenues of $403 million, ever so slightly down from the $405.1 million in revenue in fiscal 2011. Unfortunately, because of “restructuring, impairment and debt retirement expenses of $680.7 million primarily related to goodwill impairment,” GameStop suffered a net loss of $269.7 million.
