Report: Grand Theft Auto 5 data reveals GTA Online player count and game modes

Grand Theft Auto Online, the multiplayer component of Rockstar Games’ Grand Theft Auto 5, will support 32 concurrent players in several different game modes including death match, team deathmatch, free roam, races, and a return of the Cops ‘n’ Crooks mode, Cinemablend discovered through the game’s data files.
The data also suggests the game will have a co-op mode limited to 2 players.
Earlier this month, using the same data, evidence was found that the game could be coming to PlayStation 4 and PC. Rockstar denied a PS4 version of the game, and has not mentioned the existence of a PC version.
Rockstar’s companion iOS app iFruit also contains data that suggests a PC version of the game is coming.
Grand Theft Auto 5 is available today on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. In our review, we said, “The game is bursting at the seams with nothing but content. Content that is refined and stylized in the Grand Theft Auto way that Rockstar is known for.”
