Quick-scoping may be a thing of the past in Call of Duty: Ghosts

In Call of Duty, quick-scoping has gained so much traction that, at this point, it’s practically a craft. For many, it easily draws their ire, but according to Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin, it may be a thing of the past in Call of Duty: Ghosts.
In a rather long tweet, Rubin revealed that Call of Duty: Ghosts will have changes when it comes to sniper rifles:
However in re-envisioning sniper rifles some aspects, such as sway timing, have changed the way sniper rifles function and so traditional “quick-scoping” has been affected. Is it gone completely? Maybe. It certainly won’t be viable in the way it previously was.
Much like Rubin alluded to, quick-scoping might be completely eliminated due to the changed mechanics, though we have to wait until players get their hands on the sniper class to spot any tangible differences.
