Before the Xbox One is launches in Japan next year, Microsoft plans to announce games specifically targeted to that market.
What games it plans to announce is unknown, but speaking to Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer said, “Blue Dragon and Lost Odyssey on the Xbox 360 were wonderful experiences, and I’m looking forward to forming partnerships with new developers for this system as well. I feel it’s going well, that we’ll be able to respond to the ‘love’ Japan games fans have for Xbox One.”
Microsoft published Blue Dragon in 2006 and Lost Odyssey in 2007. Both games were co-developed by Final Fantasy series creator Hironobu Sakaguchi.
