Edge has revealed the cover and contents for its August 2013 issue, and, well, there won’t be too many happy campers.
Issue #256 of Edge unveils an extremely biased side of “the future of interactive entertainment,” with the headline “Why the only option right now is PS4″ slapped on the cover of a tilted PS4. I also love how, in the top left corner, Edge has already deemed the Xbox One a failure with the subheading, “The titanic errors on Xbox One’s road to ruin.”
I’m extremely disappointed. I expect a certain level of professionalism from anyone or anything that deems itself “the future of interactive entertainment,” and then Edge does this.
Objectivism is thrown out the window in favor of subjectivism, and in this case, that’s pathetic. Look at the cover below and decide for yourselves.
