Dad rents out theater so his son can play games on the big screen

Theater

Dads secretly and outwardly want their kids to think they’re awesome people. As a present to celebrate his son’s 13th birthday, a Florida dad rented out the entirety of Jacksonville’s Sun-Ray Cinema so his son, Jonah, and his friends can play video games on a pretty big screen.

For Travis, the dad, $300 got him the theater, five hours of gaming, and an unlimited supply of pizza, popcorn, and soda. If you want to know what Jonah and his friends played, they played Fallout 3, The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, Minecraft, Halo 4, Call of Duty: Black Ops II, and Portal.

And just in case you’re thinking that Jonah is spoiled, read the following tidbit written by Nona Raybern of Daily of the Day:

And just in case you were thinking that Jonah must be extremely spoiled, let me just tell you something totally awesome that will make you think, “Man, that kid really deserved an awesome party.” Jonah has Type 1 Diabetes and regularly does fundraising events for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and The Walk To Cure Diabetes. A pretty cool kid that deserves a cool birthday party.

Happy birthday, Jonah. You awesome kid, you. You can see more pictures of their grand ol’ time here.
