The executive producer on Call of Duty: Ghosts, Mark Rubin has told Kotaku that the PC version will be much better than the next-gen consoles, featuring higher resolution textures.
PC is taking a different tack from previous games [in the series.]
Now, PC has its own set of assets, It’s going to look better than any Call of Duty we’ve ever made on PC.
They’re actually using an even higher version in many cases than the next-gen consoles, from a texture standpoint.
Call of Duty: Ghosts is set to release on November 5th for current systems, with no date being set for the next-gen consoles.
The P.E Perspective: What can I say? The next-gen consoles are already behind the current PC hardware, which is about to enter a new cycle of hardware and is already six months old. The hardware that the next-gen consoles are using will be at least a year old come November, and already can’t keep up with the PC before launch, that has to worry console gamers, surely?
