Remember when we reported that the Kingdoms of Amalur intellectual property would go on the auction block sometime this month? Well, while we were totally wrong about that, those interested can begin to make bids on the IP on November 14.

According to the Heritage Global Partners auction services page, assets to be auctioned off include the Kingdoms of Amalur IP, specifically the Project Copernicus MMO that developer 38 Studios was working on until it closed its doors for good. Also available are sequel and merchandise rights and revenue for Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning.

Intellectual property rights for Big Huge Games’ properties, which include Rise of Nations, Rise of Legends, and Catan, as well as the studio’s Big Huge Games Engine and 38 Studios’ Helios platform, will be auctioned off. The auction begins on November 14 at 9:00am EST and will end on November 15 at 12:00pm EST.
