Battlefield 4 commander app now out on iOS, coming to Android later this month
Authored by Matt Hadden
The Battlefield 4 commander app is now available on iOS tablets (iPad 2 and up, iPad Mini, and iOS 6.1 and up), it will also be coming to Android tablets later this month.
This was announce in the Battlelog forums and is set for all platforms BF4 has been released on so far. You will be able to hook the commander app up to any platform that you play on, whether it is PC, next-gen or PS3 and Xbox 360, it will all work. Specifying which server you wish to join is also possible as well, you just need to simply navigate to the “Multiplayer” menu in the app, find the right server for your needs and hit the “Commander” app. This will automatically launch the commander app and join the server.
For those of you that don’t have WiFi available to you then the app will also work on 3G, but I suspect you will need a very good data plan for that as to not to eat through all of your 3G data at once.
You can get the Commander app from the Apple app store free of charge.
