H-Hour: World’s Elite first footage and two new screenshots leaked

Last week, the first screenshot for SOCOM’s spiritual successor H-Hour: World’s Elite made its way onto the interwebs and if that wasn’t enough, we now have our first footage of the shooter, too! Granted, it’s off-screen and kind of blurry, but that’s better than nothing, no? Keep in mind that the video is clearly not intended for public consumption and as such, is most likely in an alpha state. So, don’t judge too harshly since it is a work in […]

Call of Duty: Ghosts Guard Dog Killstreak getting “The Wolf” skin DLC this month — Rumor

Minecraft PC sales closing in on 13 million sold

Minecraft PC sales closing in on 13 million sold

By now, I think it’s safe to say that Mojang’s Minecraft is a smash hit. Not only by critics, but by gamers alike. As if you needed more proof, over on the game’s stats page, it lists Minecraft on PC as to having 12,967,069 people buy it to date. Not a bad number, and especially if you consider that that figure doesn’t even include the other versions of the title. Not only that, but it seems the game has legs, too. […]

Gran Turismo 6 UK launch week sales were just a fifth of GT5

In our post earlier today, we revealed that Polyphony’s latest racer — Gran Turismo 6 — failed to sizzle the UK sales chart at launch. Only managing to come in at #8 in the UK charts, it seems the racing title is a bigger disappointment at retail than believed. According to Eurogamer, GT6 debuted with around “five times fewer sales” than its predecessor, Gran Turismo 5. Now, is it a case of GT6 being affected by next-gen console launches? Possibly […]

VGX 2013: South Park: The Stick of Truth video shows “magic farts”

South Park: The Stick of Truth Get More: Comedy Central Possibly the funniest and most rude trailer to come out of the VGX, Ubisoft’s South Park: The Stick of Truth has been shown off in a new video and as the headline states, you do throw actual “magic farts.” Cartman shows our young apprentice how it’s done and it wouldn’t surprise me if a wet fart is a super move of some sort. Granted, the humor might not be for […]

VGX 2013: Thief trailer is dark and sneaky

Thief Get More: Comedy Central During last night’s VGX, Square Enix revealed a new trailer for Eidos Montreal’s Thief reboot. Now, while there are snippets of in-game action, some of the shown footage is CGI, which isn’t all that bad. It’s very dark, though, and in the shadows, a thief does what he does best — add in bludgeoning and maiming people to that list if you’re the game’s protagonist, Garret. Set for release next year, Thief will attempt to […]

In more Destiny news, its release date has finally been revealed, and even a time-frame for the beta, too.
